Hello friends,
It’s been a while since I’ve been on Substack, so if you are still subscribed to this newsletter, thank you! Your presence is always appreciated!
It’s been a hectic few months, and I don’t (yet) have any pieces of writing I am ready to share here. But I thought I would pop in to share with you some songs that are full of good vibes! If you’re looking for some songs that just complement and blend in beautifully with your days, I got you covered with these! If you have any music recommendations, please send them my way!
The new song “Snow Angel” sung by
and Callie Miles, produced by Barb Morrison and beautifully animated by Lennnie the Blob. Everything Lizzy does is sprinkled with magic, and this song is no exception! You can read all the details on Letters from Love and listen to the song on YouTube & Spotify! This one needs no explanation. One of my all-time favourites!
This live version of “(I just) died in your arms” by Cutting Crew. It’s 12 mins and 38 seconds long, but every second is pure magic!
Speaking of magic, one of my most-listened songs this year is a song called “Magic” by David From Barberton. This song just makes me feel calm and happy, so I’m not too surprised that I listened to it more than 100+ times this year.
I know I can always count on Jason Mr. A-Z for wonderful music! “93 million miles” is an old favourite.
Thank you for being here! Wishing you an easeful, peaceful and effervescent 2025!
See you in the new year!
PS: Here is a picture of Toronto on the first night it snowed this year!
Fun post. Magic by Pilot was one of my favorite songs when I was a wee one in the 70s. https://youtu.be/h6o38MN8yqE?si=Yp6IjZA-kMhK3Gvo
That is such a good Toronto picture!! Thanks for including that, Saran. Also Country Roads, Take Me Home never ever gets old ✨ I like the Lana Del Ray version, too.
Looking forward to new writing from you in 2025. Happy (early) new year! 🥳
